The best nutrition plans work because it meets you where you are and focuses on developing the areas that have let you down in the past.
The best way to start is to create and abide by a solid nutrition foundation. I call this the 6 Pillars of Nutrition.
Once you understand the core nutrition principles that you should live by, the next step is turning them into a core set of nutritional habits that you can use for the rest of your life – regardless of what your health and fitness goal may be or become.
A nice side effect of developing these core nutrition habits is weight loss. So, as the title of the program suggests, you’re going to lose some weight along the way.
The important thing that I want you to grasp is: at this time, your focus shouldn’t be on calories or the scale, but habits.
You can’t force your body to lose weight by thinking about calories, the scale, or weight loss itself; but you can think about and act on habits. That is what we are going to do together during this program.
If you focus on the right habits and consistently putting them into play in your life…the details work themselves out and you’ll lose weight and improve your health.
Create A New Status Quo
The best kind of change is long lasting change and that is what we are going to develop together. I once had a client ask me when we could go back to ‘eating normal.’
Eating normal got you in trouble in the first place. We are creating a new normal for your diet. A new normal that will make you healthier, leaner, and more energetic. This new normal will require effort at first but if you follow the program, with time, it will become second nature – like brushing your teeth or riding a bike.
