The weekends can be a tough time for your diet because your routine is different. I am always stressing that one of the best ways to ensure that you continue moving forward with your weight loss and sticking to your diet is by setting it up so that your diet functions in the background of your life. The best way to do this is through routines and rituals (not religious rituals but daily health rituals - like drinking 2 cups of green tea in the morning before you leave the house).

I find that my clients have no trouble doing this during the week when their schedule is very regimented but on the weekends when things are a more free flowing it can be tough. How you perform during this tough time will make or break your weight loss success.</itunes:summary>

In this episode of Friday&#039;s Focus I talk about the importance of NOT letting a holiday feast (like Thanksgiving or the 4th of July) spread out over a long weekend, week, or even worse the entire month! Enjoying a great meal or BBQ with friends is what you should do - using this as an excuse to eat BBQ and drink beers for 6 straight days is not what you should do.

Fortunately the topics covered are evergreen and just a relevant now as they were years ago when I produced them.  That combined with the fact that they can&#039;t be found anywhere else on the web I am going to be slowly re-releasing these segments.

Since they are old and if you have been with me a while you know that I have changed websites A LOT, if I mention a link in the audio, chances are it doesn&#039;t exist any more - sorry about that.

I know that you are going to love these. The first one is a short piece about wanting it, keep keeping on, and the drive that it takes to keep your weight off after you have lost it. Really good.
