Great blog!! Way to use new technology to connect.
One question on the study – were the people attending the nutrition education classes connecting with other attendees and getting social reinforcement from it or was it simply an online type class that showed extra commitment to the process. Using multiple paths to learn and implement things creates pathways in the brain that are stronger and more resilient than simply using one method. Keep up the great information.

Not surprised about the preliminary results of the study. Two critical factors in weight loss that are being elucidated by research are 1) education and 2) social support, both of which likely took place during the nutrition courses in your study.
