    Nice points, but you didn’t talk about the differences between the two and the use of antibiotics or growth hormones, which could be transferred to the consumer.

    I’m still torn.

      That is really a different issue in just because beef is grass-fed, that doesn’t mean they haven’t been given antibiotics. The transfer of antibiotics and hormones used is greatly overstated (based on research that I have seen).

      One other thing that I don’t think people realize is that antibiotics at some level are needed. Isn’t it cruel to withhold antibiotics from a sick animal just because they are deemed ‘antibiotic free’? Infections happen. The key is preventing antibiotic overuse which I believe the cattle industry as a whole is working to do.
